We won the Best Multi-Generational Family Holiday Award!

We are thrilled to announce that we just won a Family Traveller Award! These prestigious awards were given out by Family Traveller Magazine at the lovely White Company headquarters in Sloane Square. All the who’s-who of the travel industry were there, and we had a great ol’ knees up, perhaps aided by winning… You can read all about the evening here.

Winners at the Family Traveller Awards!

We won in the category of Best Multi-Generational Family Holiday. It’s so fantastic to be recognised for something that we work so hard to get right, not just by the folks at Family Traveller, but by everyone in the public that voted for us too – if that was you, thank you so much!

Oliver on a chateau holiday with his family

If you’re planning a big family holiday, did you know we provide a whole heap of extra info as well as your perfect villa or chateaux? Anything we can do to make your holiday as simple and stress-free as possible, consider it done:

  • Travel guides for the region, especially for kids
  • Best regional activities for groups
  • Holiday checklist provided, don’t worry about forgetting anything!
  • Travel services like organising flights, trains, ferries etc
  • Concierge extras like maid services and babysitting

We think there’s nothing better than packing up your whole family and heading off on holiday all together. It’s something we try to do as often as we can. Here’s what Oliver had to say about one of his favourite family holiday chateaux in Languedoc:

Chateau Chamborigaud makes for a great multi-generational family holiday as it has all the elements you need. Plenty for the kids to do within the estate including the heated pool, the river, various games and acres of grounds. You are just a short walk in to the local village with boulangerie, bar, restaurant and market (great for parents and grandparents alike). There is also access to a tennis court just a couple of hundred metres away. The surrounding countryside is just stunning. The resident housekeeper within the estate can arrange as much catering/cleaning/babysitting as you need. He is also on hand to help you with any day trips, airport transfers etc.”

Ravi and his family love to visit Chateau Seiguier in the Loire Valley. This gem is great for large groups as it has a pool and games on site, tennis courts and a horse-riding school in the village, and is perfectly placed for wine-tasting excursions in nearby Sancerre.

We have a great selection of family-friendly villas and chateaux, and if you need something in particular, like step-free access for Grandma, or a kids-only bathroom, our concierge team are happy to point you in the right direction. Extras to take your family holiday to the next level, like a great nanny and babysitting service, spa treatments which are customisable for mums, teens and grandmas, private chefs and more are all browsable and bookable through us too.
