Before we get into the nitty-gritty, we want to say a grand thank you to everyone that supported and voted for Oliver’s Travels at this year’s British Travel Awards. As always, our gratitude is forever yours and we hope your encouragement will continue into 2018. But lets put the love fest to the side while we dive into the juicy bits…
This year’s awards took place on the 29th November in swanky Battersea, London. And just a quick reminder in case you missed the BTA noise, we were up for Best Villa Holiday Company. We were up against some fierce competition and in the end, we scooped up the silver award in our category.
Naturally, second place is always a bitter pill to swallow, but when you really look at the nuts and bolts of how much we’ve achieved as a team and company this year then the placement really isn’t important. Of course, we dusted off our loss with a couple of glasses of champers and had a cracking night regardless. Not to toot our own horn, but we stole the dance floor – shout out to Simon Harvey, the in-house photographer on the night for taking some of the corkers below!
Let the fun begin!
Fun times with the team!
Our Co-Founder Ravi had this to say:
“I would rather win a BTA, than find love.”
And on that note, we’ll strive even harder in 2018 to get him both!
We can shake what our mammas gave us…
With the award season coming to an end, not to mention the end of the year (because where did the time go?), it’s time to say one final thank you!
We strive to make your villa holidays exceptional. And as it newly stands we have 1600 incredible villas for you to choose from – so if you don’t find the perfect one then we’ll be damned! Start your next adventure by getting in touch with our concierge team, and they’ll take care of your every need.
Finally, we want to bid you adieu and wish you a very festive Christmas and a Happy New Year!
